Our Story

The origins of “Quesos Flor Valsequillo” date back to 1988, when its President, Francisco Martel, started the Cheese Factory after several years linked to the sector by collecting milk. What started as a family business, today it has become one of the main dairy industries in the Canary Islands.Milk supply is received from more than 300 livestock farms that are all over thegeography of Gran Canaria (supported by our technical and veterinary staff).The production plant is located in Valsequillo. Specialists in the production ofCanarian cheeses with great acceptance and demand.We have a smokehouse with the aim of obtaining cheeses with a recognizableand excellent smoked flavor.Our products are present in the main Distribution Chains, local shops as wellas restaurants, catering services and numerous Hotel Chains.
